Darnell Johnson is an American author from Hartford, Connecticut, whose passion for storytelling was born out of life’s toughest lessons. At fifty years old, Darnell has already published two books — The Purpose of Life and The Sanctuary — and is currently working on his third.
Still new to the world of professional writing, Darnell’s ambition is clear: to become a full-time author and inspire others through his words. His writing is influenced by greats like Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and John Grisham, as well as his own personal experiences and spiritual journey.

The Purpose of Life
There are purposes some people must serve, but don't know what their purpose is until it's complete. A person might go to the store to buy an item, only to foil a robbery, while others have different purposes. For Michael, who knew nothing about purpose until he met a mysterious woman at a bus stop who explain what purpose in life means. Michael live a significant upper-class life with his family in one of the wealthiest towns, not only in Connecticut, but in the country, Fairfield, Connecticut. He would secure nearly every deal until a particular he did not secure fell through and that started his domino effect of problems, including losing his family.
He moved in with his best friend and his family and things started happening, including a dream he had about a dark figure guy who would sometimes stark his dreams. Only after: Only after encountering the dark figure in real life did he know who it was and why it appeared in his dreams. He was receiving mysterious texts from a private number until he realized what his purpose was and that he had to serve it before it was too late, even for him.
